Job Description

ServiceNow Business Analyst

As a ServiceNow Business Analyst at KPMG India, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing IT, GRC, Cyber, and Risk processes. You will conduct research and perform analysis required to build respective modules within the ServiceNow Platform. You will capture business requirements in a form of agile stories and test configured functionalities end-to-end as soon as they have been developed.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in IT Service Management. You should have a good understanding of Scrum Methodology and experience in business analysis and configuration or administration of IRM, SecOps modules of the ServiceNow Platform.

The ideal candidate should have 2 to 4 years of experience in IRM, GRC, Cyber SecOps design, transition, or operations processes. You should be able to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively. Additionally, you should have strong interpersonal skills to negotiate priorities and resolve conflicts among project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business users to gather requirements and formulate business specifications
• Document workflows and results of business analysis and obtain sign-off from users on specifications
• Assist the technical team in translating application functionality into application architecture and produce a business functionality requirements statement
• Communicate business directives, goals, and needs to the technical team and serve as a business interface from the enterprise's operational management team managing expectations and defining business satisfaction metrics
• Design and execute test plans to ensure that business requirements and functional specifications are implemented properly and meet ROI objectives
• Understand long-term business objectives and suggest strategies to meet those objectives; introduce innovation to business processes through technology if appropriate
• Assist the enterprise's business operations staff in developing content or other materials; recommend enhancements and identify new business requirements
• Maintain current knowledge of new hardware and software and recommend upgrading to maintain efficient operation
• Work with IT application analysts and programmers as necessary
• Perform analysis of department production and redesign workflow if appropriate
• Develop, edit, and maintain operating procedures and standards manuals
• Serve as a consultant to the enterprise in work measurement, system studies, or cost/effectiveness analysis
• Provide assistance as required to organizations outside of the enterprise to improve internal procedures that may be advantageous to the enterprise
• Conduct training sessions to implement new or improved systems and procedures
• Conduct meetings on all levels of management for purposes of presentations, reviews, approvals of recommendations, etc.
• Perform at or above the enterprise's performance standard and specifically for procedures development and analysis
• Assume additional responsibilities as assigned
• Recognize and identify potential areas where existing business services policies and procedures require change, or where new ones need to be developed, and make recommendations in these areas
