Job Title: Technical Leadership RoleJob Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced technical leader to join our team. As a proactive engineering manager, you will lead multiple projects simultaneously, build and manage diverse teams of engineers, formulate and execute strategies, and coordinate with other managers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivery Commitments: Own delivery of product and project commitments for the team. Participate in product roadmap discussions and provide inputs in design, modelling, and architectural decisions. Own and drive project estimations and operations for implementing high-quality solution delivery and technology upgrades in the product.
  • Team Leadership: Lead teams in the development of new products, solutions, and processes. Drive efficiency and productivity to produce high-quality output. Create designs that improve the flexibility, functionality, and usability of system components.
  • System Development: Define non-functional requirements (NFRs) and build a system that meets the NFR requirements. Perform design and code reviews. Oversees project logistics and resource allocation.
  • Quality Enhancement: Use tools and techniques to enhance the quality of code and design with a focus on constant reduction of code debt. Suggest the best design and implementation methodology.
  • Collaboration and Mentorship: Collaborate with other team leaders and departments. Build and develop required competence in the team. Mentor team members and prepare them for possible future roles.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering.
  • Around 7-15 years of total experience working on delivery, development, and team management.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience working with EVM, Android-related technology.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience working with frontend technologies like EMV knowledge and Android POS development.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience working in mobile technologies like Android.
  • Good understanding of commonly used databases like SQL and NoSQL.

Preferred Skills:

  • Personnel and project management skills.
  • Expert-level knowledge of sector technology and processes.
  • Organizational, planning, and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in explaining complex information to non-technical management personnel and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects in various stages simultaneously.
  • Past use of Agile/Scrum or similar collaborative tools is a plus.
  • Ability to create a set of qualifications for a new product.
  • Proficient in stakeholder management and conflict resolutions.
  • Experience in fintech space is an advantage.
