We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Investigation Specialist I. As a key member of our global operations team, you will be responsible for evaluating transactions and safeguarding Amazon's customer base, profitability, and brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and minimize the risk posed by fraud patterns and trends.
  • Communicate with buyers, merchants, and other external and internal customers via email and telephone.
  • Maintain Amazon's site quality by enforcing Policy Guidelines.
  • Take appropriate action based on established procedures and document those actions.
  • Participate in special projects and partner with business teams as necessary.
  • Achieve weekly productivity and quality standards for investigations.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate complex issues correctly and clearly.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and make complex investigation decisions with little to no guidance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong customer handling and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and data security standards.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of customer service experience.
  • Experience in payments or e-commerce.
