Job Overview

This senior leadership role is focused on developing and executing strategies to drive the growth of structured credit and macro derivative businesses in India.

The successful candidate will work closely with Product Heads, Sales Heads, and country-based Heads of Financial Markets to build a robust product suite that meets client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to grow structured credit and macro derivative businesses in line with SCB's overall strategy.
  • Provide input for the Regional Credit Structuring team and Regional Macro structuring team to enhance service excellence through bespoke solutions and strategic guidance.
  • Evaluate and ensure the delivery of Financial Markets structured credit and macro products regionally, focusing on demonstrable client outcomes.

Business Objectives:

The ideal candidate will lead business growth and stability while working closely with FM Product teams, Country/Regional Heads, and relevant stakeholders. They will also be responsible for identifying initiatives needed to grow the structuring business over short, medium, and long-term periods.

Key skills required include financial risk management, quantitative techniques, securities laws compliance, portfolio management, and market risk expertise.

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree + post-graduate qualification such as MBA or CA.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in structuring, trading, or sales roles.

Work Environment:

This position involves building effective working relationships with key internal stakeholders and managing business and risk process issues. The role requires enforcing a culture of risk management and providing impartial guidance on product/client appropriateness and suitability.
