About the Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced legal professional to join our team as an Associate Legal Counsel. This is a full-time position based in Noida, India, and will report directly to the Associate General Counsel.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a law degree and at least 5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in the software and online services industry. They should be proficient in negotiating and drafting intellectual property agreements, including in-bound technology licenses, out-bound product and technology licenses, development agreements, online services agreements, end user license agreements, and terms of use for online services.

About You

  • You have a strong understanding of privacy and data security issues and compliance, which is highly preferred.
  • You have prior experience with legal support for products and services, mobile app development, and real estate initiatives.
  • You possess a technical background or a geek-level interest in software products and development.
  • You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and can exercise common sense to provide practical and theoretical advice.
  • You are a creative problem solver with good business instincts and a desire to make an impact and build a rewarding career with our Legal team.

Responsibilities

  1. Review the development of D-ALP products and initiatives to assess legal compliance and provide practical advice.
  2. Draft and negotiate all types of technology licensing agreements, including AI initiatives.
  3. Coordinate with subject matter experts in Adobe Legal, including compliance, patent, privacy, and sales attorneys.
  4. Support and build positive relationships with Adobe's product development teams and advise multiple levels of management on legal issues.
  5. Develop and deliver materials and trainings on Open Source, Privacy and Security to various internal groups.
  6. Collaborate and coordinate with sales, finance, procurement, marketing, engineering, and business unit teams as necessary to support process transactions, address corporate policies/processes, and legal issues.
  7. Additional responsibility may include support to Real Estate initiatives and day-to-day affairs for multiple sites across India.

Estimated Salary: ₹1,200,000 - ₹2,400,000 per annum
