Senior Risk Management Leader

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Risk Management Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management, fraud investigations, and analytics.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of 6 risk specialists and risk analysts, leading process improvements initiatives, and developing strategic visions for the organization.

  • Provide leadership direction to Risk Specialists and Risk Analysts in managing day-to-day activities of bad actor detection
  • Develop and help drive the execution of the Risk Mining analyst charter based out of the IN location
  • Navigate an ever-changing risk environment and focus on developing long-term strategic charter and balance it with very short-term initiatives
  • Provide high-severity event support for Risk Mining WW
  • Start a new charter for incorporating downstream signals from Fraud and Abuse teams for improving AIT efficiency in detection of bad actor traffic
  • Lead and manage talent reviews for the direct team

About the Team:

Our team consists of Risk Analysts and Risk Mining Specialists that roll up to the Account Integrity Machine Learning Team. We evaluate instances of organized bad actor account takeover and creation of fraudulent accounts on Amazon. We collaborate closely across multiple functions in order to mitigate these attacks through various short- and long-term solutions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience in risk or fraud investigations, risk management, regulatory compliance, e-commerce, analytics, or security
- Strong management skills with a proven track record of building and grooming a top-performing team
- Experience developing and implementing a strategic, forward-looking vision for an organization

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Masters Degree or an MBA from a Tier I/II school
- PMP certification
