We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with expertise in building robust automation frameworks, designing maintainable test suites, and ensuring seamless product delivery across APIs, microservices, and web applications.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain end-to-end automated test suites using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript/Node.js) to ensure high-quality products.
  • Optimize automation frameworks for UI, REST APIs, and microservices testing, expanding their capabilities to meet evolving needs.
  • Integrate automated tests seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI), streamlining the development process.
  • Write data-driven and reusable test scripts that prioritize scalability and high coverage, enhancing overall product performance.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to define test strategies, ensuring cohesive and effective approaches.
  • Document test approaches, maintain test reports, and provide visibility into product quality, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Review automation code contributions from peers, upholding high engineering standards and promoting best practices.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of hands-on experience in QA automation, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Expertise in Playwright for web UI automation (TypeScript/Node.js preferred) is essential for success in this role.
  • A good working knowledge of REST API testing (using Playwright, PyTest, or equivalent frameworks) is necessary for evaluating candidate qualifications.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating test automation into delivery workflows is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with SQL for basic data validation is also beneficial in this context.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, combined with a detail-oriented mindset, are critical for resolving complex issues efficiently.
