Automation Quality Assurance Role

As a skilled Automation Quality Assurance professional, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of hands-on experience in QA automation and a strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript for test scripting.

You will design, develop, and maintain UI automation tests for React (web) and React Native (mobile) applications, as well as write and maintain API automation tests for NestJS/Node.js backend services.

In addition, you will collaborate with developers to define test strategies and ensure automation coverage across frontend, backend, and mobile applications.

  • Design, develop, and maintain UI automation tests for React (web) and React Native (mobile) applications.
  • Write and maintain API automation tests for NestJS/Node.js backend services, using tools like Postman and scripting frameworks.
  • Collaborate with developers to define test strategies and ensure automation coverage across frontend, backend, and mobile applications.
  • Investigate test failures, analyze logs, and provide detailed defect reports.
  • Continuously improve automation frameworks for scalability and maintainability.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience in QA automation.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript for test scripting.
  • Experience with UI automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Detox for React Native).
  • Proficiency in API testing and automation using Postman/Newman or similar frameworks.
  • Understanding of software testing principles, SDLC, and agile practices.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience with mobile automation frameworks (Appium, Detox).
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust).
  • Basic understanding of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
