Job Title: Reliability Expert

We seek an accomplished Reliability Expert to define the future of our firm and drive site reliability.

This role entails conducting resiliency design reviews, breaking down complex problems into manageable tasks, and acting as a technical lead for medium to large-sized products. You will also provide advice and mentoring to fellow engineers and collaborate with team members to identify comprehensive service level indicators and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Champion site reliability culture and practices, exerting technical influence throughout your team.
  • Lead initiatives to improve the reliability and stability of applications and platforms using data-driven analytics.
  • Collaborate with team members to establish reasonable service level objectives and error budgets with customers.
  • Act as the main point of contact during major incidents, identifying and solving issues quickly to avoid financial losses.
  • Document and share knowledge within your organization via internal forums and communities of practice.
Requirements:
  • Formal training or certification in site reliability engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
  • Expertise in application development and support with multiple technologies and design techniques.
  • Experience in developing AI/ML solutions using public cloud architecture, specifically Azure and AWS, and Python for AI/ML modeling.
  • Experience in automation and continuous delivery methods.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
