Proposal Developer Opportunity

This role involves creating well-structured proposals for US federal opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the federal procurement process and be able to work collaboratively with capture teams, SMEs, and leadership to produce winning proposals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review, interpret, and respond to federal RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and task orders.
  • Develop compelling proposal content that is clear and compliant.
  • Collaborate with capture managers, business development, and technical experts to gather inputs.
  • Manage the proposal development lifecycle, including reviews, deadlines, and final submission.
  • Maintain a library of past performance, resumes, and reusable proposal content.
  • Proofread, format, and standardize documents for consistency and compliance.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience writing proposals for US federal government contracts.
  • Strong understanding of the federal acquisition process (FAR/DFAR).
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple proposals simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • US citizenship or work authorization required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • APMP certification or Shipley methodology training.
  • Experience supporting proposals across multiple industries (IT, staffing, healthcare, logistics, professional services, etc.).
  • Familiarity with proposal tools (Loopio, RFPIO, etc.).
