Job Opportunity: US Federal Contracts Support Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled professional to provide compliance, reporting, and administrative support for U.S. federal government contracts.

  • Contract Review & Compliance:
    • Assist in reviewing federal contract documents, task orders, and amendments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Identify and summarize applicable FAR/DFARS clauses and compliance obligations, facilitating informed decision-making.
    • Support subcontractor due diligence, communicating and documenting required flow-down clauses effectively.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
    • Prepare comprehensive compliance trackers, audit files, and status reports for internal and external stakeholders, fostering transparency and trust.
    • Support U.S. reporting obligations (eSRS, FSRS, subcontracting plans, EEO/OFCCP reporting), maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
    • Maintain organized contract repositories and document management systems, ensuring efficient access and retrieval of critical information.
  • Audit & Monitoring Support:
    • Assist with internal reviews and external audits (e.g., DCAA, DCMA), providing expertise and guidance to ensure timely compliance.
    • Track deliverables, certifications, and contract obligations, utilizing advanced tools and techniques to minimize risks and maximize opportunities.
  • Proposal & Pre-Award Support:
    • Review solicitations (RFPs/RFQs) for relevant FAR/DFARS clauses, developing tailored strategies to optimize proposal development and submission.
    • Prepare comprehensive compliance matrices and checklists for proposal teams, enhancing their ability to navigate complex contractual requirements.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Support:
    • Coordinate with contracts, compliance, legal, and procurement teams, promoting seamless communication and collaboration across departments.

Provide data, documentation, and compliance insights as requested, leveraging your skills and expertise to drive business success.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Legal Studies, Political Science, or related field.
  • Experience: 1–3 years in contracts, compliance, or coordinating with legal teams on contract terms, clauses, and risk.
  • Knowledge/Skills:
    • Strong understanding of FAR, DFARS, and U.S. federal contracting principles.
    • Familiarity with compliance areas (EEO, Service Contract Act, export controls, cybersecurity requirements).
    • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and contract management tools (e.g., SharePoint, SAP Ariba, Deltek Costpoint).
    • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
    • Prior experience supporting U.S. federal contracts in an offshore/outsourcing environment.
