Job Title: Chief Cost Estimation Manager

Job Overview:

The Chief Cost Estimation Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the cost estimation process forward. This involves critically assessing quantities, pricing materials, and ensuring that cost estimates are accurate and aligned with project specifications.

This position requires exceptional leadership skills to oversee the work of cost estimation teams and collaborate with other departments to control and competitive project costs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the Cost Estimation Process: Ensure all quantities and material costs are accurately assessed for projects.

2. Review and Validate Cost Estimates: Verify alignment with project specifications for materials, labor, and overheads.

3. Collaborate with Departments: Gather necessary data from procurement, engineering, and project management teams for cost estimation.

4. Mentor Junior Cost Estimators: Oversee and ensure accuracy and timeliness of their work.

5. Prepare Final Cost Reports: Support the estimation manager in presenting estimates to senior management and clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree: In quantity surveying, Engineering, or related fields.

• Experience: 7+ years in quantity surveying, focusing on large-scale projects.

• Skills: Proficiency in cost estimation software, analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and team management skills.
