Job Overview

As a supply chain professional, you will play a crucial role in designing and optimizing our end-to-end supply chain operations.


Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies to drive efficiency and cost savings.
  • Lead the design and optimization of transportation networks, warehouses, and inventory management systems.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of 3PL/4PL providers and logistics outsourcing options to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Analyze freight costs and optimize routing to reduce expenses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Inventory Management strategies.
  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts and inventory plans to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
  • Design and implement capacity planning and production scheduling processes to maximize productivity.
  • Implement Lean manufacturing principles and Just-In-Time (JIT) practices to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
  • Develop and execute inventory segmentation and classification strategies to optimize inventory levels.
  • Calculate safety stock and reorder points to ensure adequate inventory coverage.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through proactive risk management strategies.
  • Continuously monitor and improve supply chain processes through data-driven analysis and process improvements.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Automotive Engineering.
  • 8-10 years of experience in managing supply chain domains in an automotive industry.
  • Proficiency in SAP, MS Office tools, and Procon software.
