Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced network professional to join our team as a Senior Technical Network Professional.

">

You will be responsible for configuring, troubleshooting and managing routing protocols, firewall security policies, rules, Cisco ISE RBAC policy, service definitions, load balancing rules, creating a virtual server, pool configuration, iRules, SSL client-server configuration, redirection rules, etc.

">

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • ">
  • Configure and troubleshoot advanced network protocols such as BGP, OSPF, MPLS, IS-IS, STP, ECMP and vPC.">
  • Monitor network availability and performance using various tools and metrics.">
  • Configure and manage network access points for MS Teams and Zoom.">
  • Identify and troubleshoot hardware problems through log investigation.">
  • Report and investigate anomalies outside the expected norm.">
  • Proxy ticket opening with carriers or vendors as required.">
  • Open trouble tickets, follow-up and repair as required.">
  • Escalate issues to senior teams and vendors as necessary.">
  • Follow up on open issues and update tickets periodically to ensure timely resolution.">
  • Review syslog status and document findings.">
  • Respond to system issues related to the infrastructure and fulfill service requests.">
  • Prioritize workload and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.">
  • Review all critical links for utilization and error thresholds.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or engineering-related field with 3 years of industry experience or five plus years of industry experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.">
  • Hands-on experience in Cisco Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Nexus platforms.">
  • Configuration and operational support experience with Nexus switches, NSX-T, NSX-V, NSX Edge, NSX logical router, NSX Load balancer, NSX distributed Firewall.">
  • One year of working in MS Azure environment, VNET, subnet creation, management and troubleshooting.">
  • Strong experience on Routing, Switching, Firewall, Content Filtering, Radius, Routing protocols, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, Wireless, VPN, WAAS.">
  • Applicable experience with firewalls, Internet VPNs, remote implementation, troubleshooting and problem resolution.">
  • Basic understanding of VMware vSphere, vCenter, vRealise.">
  • Understanding of IPS, IDS technologies.">
  • Willingness to work under different technologies and take up new technology responsibilities outside core skills.">
  • CCNA, CCNP, any public cloud certification.">
  • Any preferred skills you'd want that is just a bonus and will not be evaluated as core skills for this role.">
  • Extensive hands-on experience and troubleshooting experience in Network Protocols - BGP, OSPF, MPLS, IS-IS, STP, ECMP, vPC, etc.">
  • Basic understanding of Cloud Environments, Public, Private, Hybrid Cloud.">
  • Experience in Enterprise VOIP and Telephone system maintenance and management.">
