As a Senior Network Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable network infrastructures to support business growth. This involves advanced troubleshooting, architectural planning, and optimization of network systems to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design robust network architectures to support current and future business requirements, utilizing industry-standard protocols and technologies.
  • Develop comprehensive network diagrams, documentation, and specifications for network components, ensuring seamless integration and deployment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical network requirements, fostering effective communication and project delivery.
  • Configure and deploy network devices such as routers, switches, load balancers, and VPN concentrators, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Implement network security measures, including access control, encryption, and intrusion detection/prevention systems, protecting against cyber threats and data breaches.
  • Deploy and manage network monitoring and management tools to ensure proactive network health and performance monitoring, enabling timely issue resolution and improved uptime.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize network configurations to enhance efficiency and throughput, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Conduct periodic network performance assessments and capacity planning exercises, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic initiatives.
  • Implement Quality of Service (QoS) policies to prioritize critical network traffic, ensuring business continuity and minimal disruption.
  • Provide escalated support for complex network issues and outages, including root cause analysis and resolution, minimizing downtime and impact on business operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot network-related problems impacting business operations, promoting a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Implement and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity strategies for network infrastructure, ensuring resilience and rapid recovery in the event of disruptions.
  • Implement and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices to protect network assets from unauthorized access and cyber threats, maintaining compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Ensure adherence to industry regulations and standards such as PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, etc., mitigating risks and ensuring data privacy and security.
  • Perform regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and remediate potential security risks, ensuring a secure and compliant network environment.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, procedures, and standards, facilitating knowledge sharing, onboarding, and incident response.
  • Provide mentorship and knowledge sharing to team members, promoting professional development and expertise within the organization.
