Mainframe Developer Position

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer to join our team.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing, fixing, implementing, enhancing, optimizing and maintaining applications on the Mainframe platform.

Responsibilities:

  1. Analyzing business requirements to design and develop efficient Mainframe solutions.
  2. Designing, developing, testing, and deploying Mainframe code to ensure seamless integration with peripheral systems.
  3. Staying updated on industry trends and best practices related to zOS integration and BPML.
  4. Providing hands-on support activities, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define integration solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of banking domain.
  • Excellent understanding of Mainframe technologies, including JCL, VSAM, CICS, Easytrieve, TWS, ISPW, NATONE editor.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as COBOL and DB2.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
