We are seeking a skilled Payment Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the uptime and stability of critical banking applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide application and production support for digital payment systems, including UPI and retail banking platforms.
  • Monitor application health, system alerts, and perform incident management to minimize downtime.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and implement long-term solutions.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for issue resolution and change implementation.
  • Document support procedures, run books, and incident reports.
  • Ensure compliance with ITIL practices, including incident, problem, and change management.
  • Manage deployment activities, release validations, and post-production verification.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for payment systems and support audits and compliance-related activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 8-11 years of experience in application support, production support, or IT operations.
  • Hands-on experience supporting UPI platforms, retail banking applications, and payment gateways.
  • Strong understanding of banking protocols and digital payment workflows.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Unix/Linux commands, log analysis, and scripting (Shell/Python preferred).
  • Good understanding of monitoring tools, incident tracking systems (e.g., Splunk, AppDynamics, ServiceNow).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills across cross-functional teams.
