Job Title: Financial/Entity Controller

Total Experience: 6-10 years, Qualifications: CA/CPA, Employment type: Full time.

About the Role:

  • The Entity Controller is responsible for overseeing financial operations, reporting, and compliance across multiple legal entities within an organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for all group entities in accordance with GAAP/IFRS standards.
  • Ensure timely and accurate consolidation of financials across subsidiaries to provide a comprehensive view of the organization's financial performance.
  • Maintain strict adherence to local, regional, and international accounting standards and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate and manage external audits and statutory filings to maintain transparency and accuracy.
  • Develop and enforce internal control frameworks to safeguard assets, ensure data integrity, and prevent financial mismanagement.
  • Monitor and improve financial processes, systems, and controls across entities to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead SOX compliance implementation and other regulatory control initiatives to minimize risk and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee entity-level budgeting and forecasting processes to inform strategic business decisions.
  • Analyze financial performance and variances; provide insights to senior leadership to drive informed decision-making.
  • Support strategic planning and financial modeling for new initiatives and expansions to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Manage and mentor a team of accountants and financial analysts across entities to promote professional development and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Tax, Treasury, Legal, and Operations to foster a culture of collaboration and cooperation.
  • Act as a financial advisor to entity heads and business unit leaders to provide expert guidance and support.
  • Drive automation and system enhancements for financial reporting and consolidation to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure consistency in accounting policies and procedures across the group to maintain a unified approach.

  • Familiarity with transfer pricing, intercompany transactions, and tax structuring to showcase knowledge and skills.
