Job Summary

The head of IT infrastructure is responsible for overseeing the overall IT system in a plant environment. This includes ensuring that IT operations support and meet manufacturing requirements as well as maintain compliance with regulatory standards.

This role will lead the site IT team, collaborating with cross-functional teams and headquarters departments to improve systems and implement digital projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement robust infrastructure to support internal functions such as production, engineering, quality control, and warehouse operations.
  • Manage server installation, configuration, and management for optimal performance and reliable operations.
  • Evaluate and upgrade existing IT infrastructures, applications, and operational technologies to meet technology transformations and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and headquarters departments for system issues, improvements, CAPAs, and new projects implementation.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to IT systems providing timely support to minimize downtime.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of server management (Windows, Linux), networking (LAN/WAN, switches, routers, firewalls), information security, cyber security, and privacy security.
  • Adequate knowledge of OT-IT systems integration (L1 & L2 systems, DAS, Historian).
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCNA are desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Excellent communication and leadership skills are required to work effectively in a challenging environment.
