Procurement Expert for Turnkey Projects

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Expert to join our team and drive excellence in procurement operations for high-end turnkey projects.

Job Description:

  • 15+ years of experience in procurement with a strong focus on interior space.
  • Minimum Bachelors Degree in an aligned field.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Vendor sourcing across civil and interior works with a strong focus on interior contracts.
  2. Negotiating terms with vendors to ensure cost-effective procurement.
  3. Managing vendors efficiently and ensuring vendor work allocation, engagement, clarity of vendor scopes, discipline, and happiness including proper payment certification.
  4. Ensuring the correctness of the order with respect to quantity, drawings, brand, schedule, location, site readiness etc.
  5. Ensuring the quality of vendor-procured materials.
  6. Managing day-to-day tasks such as purchase orders, onboarding new vendors, and processing bills.
  7. Planning and Ensuring timely delivery of materials and order closure to meet project timelines.
  8. Leading, guiding, and building the procurement team in the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent Communication Skills.
  • Access to a wide range of vendors in the civil and interior contracting space.
  • Procurement experience from low values to very high-value orders (upto 50,00,000 + lakhs).
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Vendor Sourcing capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and AutoCAD.
  • Able to communicate in Tamil, English, and Hindi.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and a goal-driven attitude.
  • Ownership of a two-wheeler or four-wheeler for mobility.
  • Leadership qualities to inspire and guide the team while fostering vendor relationships.
  • Should be goal-oriented and accountable.
