Job Description
  • Calculate inventory metrics, including food stocks and order quantities.
  • Maintain accurate records to ensure timely report generation and invoice processing.
  • Process invoices using computer software.
  • Conduct periodic audits to assess inventory levels and determine reordering needs.
  • Submit requisition forms for inventory replenishment and supplies.
  • Notify supervisors of low stock thresholds.
  • Verify received inventory shipments and complete inventory logs.
  • Reconcile shipping invoices with receiving reports to ensure accuracy.
  • Receive, unload, and process deliveries.
  • Reject damaged or unacceptable items.
  • Troubleshoot delivery issues with vendors and oversee returns.
  • Foster a culture of food safety and handling throughout the organization.
  • Monitor par levels for all food products to maintain optimal inventory.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and safety concerns to management; participate in safety training and certification programs.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures; maintain a professional appearance and uniform; protect organizational assets.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues using clear and concise language.
  • Prepare and review written documents accurately and professionally; answer telephones with proper etiquette.
  • Cultivate positive working relationships with colleagues; support team efforts to achieve common goals; listen actively to colleague concerns.
  • Maintain quality assurance standards.
  • Evaluate information from various sources (e.g., small print).
  • Inspect tools, equipment, or machinery for defects.
  • Enter and retrieve work-related data using computers and/or point-of-sale systems.
  • Prolonged standing, sitting, or walking may be required.
  • Lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Navigate through confined spaces.
  • Move over uneven surfaces.
  • Reach above and below knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • At least one year of related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience required.
  • No certifications or licenses necessary.
