Leads IT Infrastructure Operations for a Global Learning Network

The Vice President of IT Infrastructure plays a pivotal role in empowering India's educational landscape by ensuring the seamless operation of technology across 9,000+ schools and over 1,00,000 devices. This strategic leadership position oversees all hardware operations, guaranteeing high availability, low Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), and exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develops and executes a future-ready hardware strategy across schools, internal teams, and warehouse systems.
  • Oversees the end-to-end lifecycle of 1L+ Android tablets, TVs, and panels from procurement to maintenance cycles.
  • Evaluates, onboards, and manages hardware OEMs, warehouse vendors, and last-mile deployment partners.
  • Pilots and assesses new classroom technologies, recommending adoption based on learning outcomes and TCO.
  • Ensures seamless internal IT operations, including device provisioning, WiFi and VPNs, secure access management, and productivity tooling across offices.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and hardware operations, with 5+ years in leadership roles managing distributed teams and multi-vendor ecosystems.
  • Proven success in managing large-scale hardware deployments and operations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in establishing and managing enterprise-wide IT infrastructure.
  • Deep understanding of Android-based hardware, smart TVs, and interactive panels deployed at scale.
  • Familiarity with LAN/WAN architecture, internal server infrastructure, and IT security practices.

As a seasoned leader, you will cultivate strong partnerships with external vendors and drive scalable IT processes to deliver timely and effective support to business stakeholders and field leadership.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for defining infra SLAs, rollout plans, and managing risk in large deployments while serving as a strategic partner within the organization.
