Senior Interior Design Position

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Interior Designer to lead the development of innovative design concepts from conception to completion.

The ideal candidate will have a strong aesthetic sense, excellent project management skills, and the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors throughout multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design Development: Create unique design concepts that meet client needs and reflect current trends in interior design.
  • Project Management: Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and budget compliance. Coordinate with other team members and stakeholders as needed.
  • Client Consultation: Conduct regular client meetings to discuss design ideas, preferences, and project requirements, maintaining ongoing communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Space Planning: Develop functional and aesthetically pleasing space plans that optimize layout and enhance user experience.
  • Material Selection: Research and select appropriate materials, furnishings, and finishes that align with the design vision and client expectations.
  • Documentation: Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and presentations using industry-standard design software.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure design intent is maintained throughout the construction process.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior designers, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Trend Research: Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and innovative design solutions to inspire and inform project work.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree: In Interior Design or a related field.
  • Experience: 6+ years of experience in interior design, with a focus on residential, commercial, or hospitality projects.
  • Design Software Proficiency: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Knowledge: Building codes, accessibility standards, and sustainable design practices.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Portfolio: A portfolio demonstrating a range of design projects and styles.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Management Software: Experience in using project management software.
  • 3D Rendering Tools: Knowledge of 3D rendering and visualization tools.

Work Environment:

The position may require occasional travel to project sites and flexibility in working hours to meet project deadlines.
