We are seeking a seasoned automation engineer to join our team in Palakkad, India.

A challenging opportunity exists for an experienced professional who can design and develop automated test frameworks using Selenium WebDriver with Java.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with development and QA teams to identify test requirements and implement scalable solutions.

This role involves developing and executing UI, API, and integration test cases. Code reviews, mentoring junior team members, and enforcing automation best practices are also part of this position.

The automation tests will be integrated into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions. Investigating test failures, analyzing logs, and assisting in root cause analysis are key responsibilities.

Maintaining documentation for test architecture, processes, and procedures is crucial for this role.

To succeed in this role, you must have strong experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java. Good understanding of TestNG or JUnit frameworks is also essential.

Familiarity with Maven, Git, and Jenkins is required. Knowledge of Page Object Model (POM) and data-driven testing is beneficial.

Hands-on experience with REST API automation using RestAssured is preferred. Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies is necessary.

Familiarity with tools like Allure, ExtentReports, or Log4j is a plus.
