Job Title: Senior Automation Specialist Overview of the Role

We are seeking an experienced automation specialist to join our team. As a senior automation specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions using programmable logic controllers (PLCs), human-machine interfaces (HMIs), and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation engineering, with experience in PLC programming, HMI development, and SCADA system implementation. You will work closely with our team to develop innovative solutions that meet our customers' needs.

 Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
  • Program PLCs using languages such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block Diagrams.
  • Create HMI screens using software tools like Allen-Bradley's FactoryTalk View or Siemens' SIMATIC WinCC.
  • Implement SCADA systems to monitor and control industrial processes.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our automation solutions.
 Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in automation engineering, preferably in the industrial automation sector.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC programming languages and HMI development tools.
  • Experience with SCADA system implementation and configuration.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
