Roles & Responsibilities

  • We are seeking a senior test automation professional to design and develop efficient solutions for web, services/APIs, database testing requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design and develop automated regression suites & test harnesses that meet organizational standards and ensure reliability, reusability, and maintainability.

· Identify areas/test cases for automation, design, and implement test automation strategies.

· Create tools and frameworks with quality code to simplify testing scenarios.

· Plan, execute, and analyze test cases based on functional and design specifications, ensuring the delivery of business functionality on time with required quality.

· Collaborate with development teams to deliver projects within deadlines and acceptance criteria.

· Act as a test lead, overseeing the work of other testing staff, assigning tasks, and meeting project deadlines.

· Develop test cases and test automation suites using Python.

· Utilize strong testing skills to guide project staff and review/approve their work in writing scripts, expected results, test results, and defect descriptions.

· Focus on enhancing, debugging, and running test cases, as well as organizing and monitoring defect management processes.

· Participate in internal/cross-team meetings, project scoping, functional reviews, test specifications, technical reviews, and Agile environment.

· Involve in requirements review and participate in architecture/design reviews with emphasis on test automation/performance strategy and best practices.

· Excellent understanding of CI/CD Processes and Continuous Testing Methodologies.

· Actively participate in functional, system, and regression testing activities.

· Capture quality assurance data and metrics to provide insights and conclusions.

· Estimate and perform risk analysis for quality delivery.

· Agile Practitioner.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Software testing experience in all phases, including test planning, execution, and closure.
  • Excellent understanding of QA and testing methodologies, best practices.
  • 6+ years of experience as an Automation QA Tester.
  • Proficiency in Python for test automation.
  • Experience working with SOAP and REST services and understanding SOA architecture.
  • Experience creating and maintaining automation frameworks preferred.
  • Experience using SQL to query databases required.
  • Exposure to distributed source control systems such as Git.
  • Experience with test data management techniques.
  • Experience with change management and defect tracking tools.
  • Strong English proficiency level (B2) is required.
  • The expected seniority level is A3.
  • Candidate must undergo customer and project interviews.

Minimum and Preferred Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field.
