Job Overview

This role offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team of engineers working on public health projects. As a key member of the design consultancy team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality project designs and collaborating with colleagues to achieve project goals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, preferably with a focus on public health building services. You will need to have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to work effectively with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality project designs that meet client requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with CAD technicians to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery.
  • Conduct regular reviews of project designs to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Support the project submission process, including obtaining No Objection Certificates (NOC).
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant technical developments and best practices within the discipline.
  • Understand the contract and scope of project deliverables, ensuring effective project management.
  • Embed Health & Safety into all work practices, adhering to company policies and regulations.
  • Ensure statutory and regulatory requirements are met, maintaining compliance across teams and projects.
  • Provide regular work status updates, including risks or concerns, to line managers.
  • Attend and contribute to team and project meetings as required, fostering collaboration and teamwork.
  • Contribute to the delivery of the business unit strategy, supporting the company's approach to sustainability.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • M.Tech/M.E./B.Tech/B.E (Civil/Mechanical/Env.) degree from a recognized institution.
  • Prior experience in designing public health building services, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Familiarity with PHE Systems and ability to apply knowledge effectively.
  • A minimum of 3-7 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating expertise and adaptability.
  • Excellent client relationships, collaboration, and teamwork skills, with a commercial acumen to drive business growth.
  • Strong technical capability, delivery, and adaptability, with a commitment to continuous learning.
