The Opportunity:


As a Senior Product Manager for Hematology and Biochemistry at Avantor, you will be responsible for driving business growth, profitability, and sales enablement across the Diagnostics Business segment. This role requires a deep understanding of the market, vendor management, and brand positioning strategies to ensure the success of the Avantor Immunology Range.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop and execute market intelligence-driven strategies to optimize slow-moving and non-moving products, and introduce high-potential new products
  • Manage the performance of the Haematology and Biochemistry Product range, including sales enablement, market development, and vendor management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective brand positioning and customer engagement
  • Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through lead generation campaigns and sales process enablement
  • Manage product portfolio optimization, including market intelligence, competitor analysis, and action planning
  • Drive data analytics to inform product mix implementation, promotional campaign planning, and product pricing and schemes

Requirements:



  • 8-12 years of relevant experience in product management, preferably in the diagnostics industry
  • Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Biotechnology or Life Science, with an MBA/PGDM in Marketing preferred
  • Subject matter expertise in Hematology and Biochemistry, with knowledge of Immunology an advantage
  • Strong analytical and logical thinking, with result-oriented approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and other relevant tools
