Senior Data Analyst Position Overview

This highly coveted role focuses on leveraging data insights to drive strategic business decisions, enhance customer experiences, and foster leadership excellence.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement advanced analytical tools and capabilities across the organization to extract actionable insights from large datasets.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive critical business processes, foster joint initiatives, and ensure seamless communication of findings through effective presentations and diverse channels.
  • Apply expertise in data modeling, statistical analysis, and deep knowledge of core datasets to identify areas of improvement and optimize operational efficiency.
  • Stay current with external trends and cutting-edge analytics capabilities within and beyond the pharmaceutical sector to inform strategic decision-making.
Requirements for Success
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (Engineering, Operations Research, Management Science, Economics, Statistics, Applied Math, Computer Science, or Data Science) from an accredited institution; advanced degrees preferred.
  • Accumulate a minimum of 2+ years of experience in Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or Healthcare analytics or secondary data analysis.
  • Gain at least 5 years of experience applying advanced statistical methods and procedures to complex datasets, with hands-on proficiency in PySpark, Python, R, and SQL.
  • Possess working knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI, MicroStrategy, Tableau, QlikView, D3.js, or similar), familiarity with platforms like Databricks, and proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrate strong experience in analyzing longitudinal data sources, extracting insights from complex analyses, and communicating findings effectively.
  • Prior exposure to IQVIA datasets and ability to handle large-scale secondary transactional databases are essential.
  • Exhibit solid background in statistical analysis and modeling, with strong organizational and time management skills.
