About the Role

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all syndicated lending activities, including origination, sourcing, preparation, execution, and distribution of syndicated financing transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and supervise all syndicated lending activities to ensure seamless execution.
  • Maximize return on portfolio through origination and managing supporting infrastructure to drive business growth.
  • Create detailed financial models, valuations, and business plans for projects to inform decision-making.
  • Evaluate proposals and stay informed about market structures and competitive offerings to maintain a strong market presence.
  • Build and maintain relationships with banks, FIs, NBFCs, and other Financial Intermediaries to enhance business association and foster collaboration.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with bilateral and long-term financing institutions to secure funding opportunities.
  • Serve as primary liaison between Relationship Managers and syndicate banks to facilitate effective communication and coordination.
  • Lead the syndication business by standardizing the function nationally to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of syndicated finance transactions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate creditworthiness of borrowers to mitigate risk and ensure sound lending practices.
  • C coordinate with lenders/bankers from proposal filing stage till security creation to ensure timely completion.
  • Handle pre and post-sanction activities, including project evaluation/appraisal, preparation of term sheets/legal documents to ensure smooth transaction execution.
  • Maintain adherence to Risk, Compliance, and legal norms to minimize exposure and ensure sustainable growth.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Qualification: Chartered Accountant/MBA Finance/CFA
  • Relevant Work Experience in Yrs: 10-20 Years
