Capital Markets Specialist Role

This is a senior position in the field of capital markets requiring an expert with extensive experience in fundraising, debt raising, and investor relations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fundraising & Capital Strategy:
    • Design and execute the company's fundraising strategy across equity and debt instruments.
    • Negotiate with investors, banks, and financial institutions to secure growth capital.
    • Explore innovative financing opportunities including structured financing, private placements, and bond issuances.
    • Align capital raising initiatives with business objectives and long-term strategy.
  • Debt Raising:
    • Manage debt activities including bank loans, syndicated loans, project financing, and capital market borrowings.
    • Negotiate favorable terms with lenders while maintaining optimal capital cost.
    • Monitor debt covenants and ensure compliance.
    • Build relationships with credit rating agencies, financial advisors, and debt investors.
  • Investor Relations:
    • Serve as primary point of contact for existing and potential investors, ensuring clear communication.
    • Develop investor presentations and updates to build confidence.
    • Organize investor meetings and briefings to maintain engagement.
    • Gather investor feedback and incorporate insights into capital strategy.
  • Capital Markets Advisory:
    • Monitor capital markets trends to guide financing decisions.
    • Advise management on capital structure optimization and market opportunities.
    • Coordinate with regulatory teams to ensure adherence to requirements.
    • Evaluate and execute mergers or joint ventures where capital market activities are involved.
  • Leadership & Collaboration:
    • Partner with finance teams to drive capital allocation strategies.
    • Mentor junior team members in fundraising and investor management best practices.
    • Engage with external stakeholders including banks, funds, and strategic partners.
