As a Senior Business Continuity Analyst at Vontier, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's resilience strategy and ensuring its effective execution. This critical position involves collaborating with various teams to identify vulnerabilities and develop strategies for minimizing disruptions and enhancing availability.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough business impact analyses in collaboration with operating companies' critical locations and functions to inform global resilience strategies.
2. Establish key partnerships across support areas to integrate business continuity planning and incident response into organizational operations.
3. Develop successful stakeholder relationships with business partners and IT, acting as a trusted advisor to deliver Business Resilience services that meet their needs.
4. Identify and improve meaningful business resilience metrics and key risk indicators (KRIs) to drive transparency and awareness among key stakeholders.
Response/Readiness:
1. Conduct periodic roundtable exercises (tabletops) with key stakeholders across operating companies, documenting results and tracking progress.
2. Stay apprised of incidents and events, providing detailed reports when necessary and identifying significant risks for monitoring and remediation.
3. Leverage technological advancements to automate manual tasks and enhance overall efficiency.
4. Prepare for and participate in responses to ongoing business disruptions, supporting incident processes globally where needed.
5. Facilitate formal incident postmortems to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
1. 5+ years of experience in Business Continuity, with a deep understanding of best practices and the ability to apply them on a global scale.
2. Proven track record of building comprehensive Business Continuity programs and influencing senior business leaders to achieve strategic goals.
3. Familiarity with related industry regulatory requirements and emerging trends in business continuity, disaster recovery, and resilience.
4. Strong communication, presentation, documentation, and interpersonal skills, with a keen eye for detail and ability to extract meaningful information from research and analysis.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple demands, and maintain confidentiality under pressure.
