Cloud Security Expert Wanted

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Security Expert to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of cloud infrastructure and architecture, along with expertise in deploying, managing, and optimizing AWS services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions to meet the evolving needs of our organization and clients.
  • Developing and maintaining an Amazon AWS based cloud solution using a broad range of AWS services (VPC, EC2, RDS, ELB, S3, AWS CLI, Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, AWS Config, Kinesis, Route 53, Dynamo DB, and SNS).
  • Implementing identity and access management (IAM) controls to manage user and system access securely.
  • Collaborating with cloud architects and developers to create security solutions for cloud environments by designing security controls and ensuring they are integrated into cloud platforms.
  • Monitoring cloud environments for suspicious activities and threats using tools like SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) systems.
  • Automating cloud security processes using tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.
  • Securing and encrypting data by providing secret management solutions with versioning enabled.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to promote secure cloud practices and training employees about cloud security best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience as a Cloud Platform Engineer, with a strong focus on AWS.
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, ECS, and others.
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and compliance standards in cloud environments.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless computing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
