Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled cloud infrastructure specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in supporting public cloud infrastructure services, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and GCP.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing Level 3 support for cloud-based applications and infrastructure
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Developing and maintaining documentation for cloud infrastructure and applications
  • Conducting regular audits and assessments of cloud infrastructure to ensure compliance with best practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Proficiency in core infrastructure services for AWS, Microsoft Azure, and GCP
  • Strong knowledge of containerized environments (EKS/AKS/GKE)
  • Experience hosting applications on GCP using Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud SQL, Kubernetes Engine, and Cloud Storage
  • Advanced level hands-on knowledge of AWS services, Azure services, and GCP services
  • Strong notions of security best practices and experience with configuration management tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet/Chef)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and ability to communicate IT concepts to technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred qualifications:

  • Intermediate knowledge of other two platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience with monitoring and auditing systems, defining and documenting best practices and strategies regarding infrastructure maintenance
  • Proficiency in any one of the cloud environment mentioned above is a must
Key Responsibilities
  • Translate application requirements into cloud architecture/infrastructure
  • Deploy, manage, and operate scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant architectures
  • Select appropriate services based on compute, data, or security requirements
  • Write infrastructure as code (IaC) using CloudFormation, JSON, YAML, or Terraform
  • Troubleshoot distributed systems
  • Deliver and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with best practices
