Job Title:

Cloud Data Infrastructure Specialist

Overview:

We seek a seasoned Cloud Data Infrastructure Specialist to design, implement and maintain scalable, reliable platforms and data transformations that drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and maintain cloud-based data pipelines to extract, transform and load (ETL) data from diverse sources into our data warehouse or lake environment.
  • Automate, manage and scale the underlying infrastructure for our cloud data platforms (e.g., Airflow, Spark clusters), applying SRE and DevOps best practices for performance, reliability and observability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
  • Optimize and tune existing data pipelines and infrastructure for performance, cost and scalability.
  • Implement and enforce data quality and governance processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Work closely with the Business Intelligence team to design and develop dashboards, reports and analytical tools providing actionable insights to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in cloud-based data engineering and architecture.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with data transformation and ETL tools such as Apache Beam, Spark or AWS Glue.
  • Knowledge of DevOps and SRE practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
