Commercial Real Estate Asset Manager Job Description

The Commercial Real Estate Asset Manager will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date records related to asset performance, including property information, lease agreements, and financial transactions.

This role involves organizing, storing, and retrieving asset-related documents, such as property deeds, lease agreements, and insurance policies, in a secure and easily accessible manner.

The successful candidate will prepare reports on asset performance, highlighting key metrics such as budget variance, insurance status, maintenance activity, and shared drive updates. Additionally, they will provide administrative support to the Asset Management team by scheduling meetings with stakeholders, identifying contractors, procuring work scopes, and obtaining quotes.

The Asset Manager will serve as a point of contact for internal stakeholders, including property managers, leasing agents, and other support teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and prepare reports. They should also have excellent organizational skills, maintaining accurate records and documents, and demonstrate effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Technical skills, particularly proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and asset management software/Yardi, are essential. Furthermore, attention to detail is crucial, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all tasks.

A Bachelor's Degree in a field such as real estate, finance, business, or a related field is typically required for this position.

The ideal candidate will be able to effectively balance multiple responsibilities, prioritize tasks, and maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
