Job Description

We are seeking a visionary scholar to lead our efforts in future studies, scenario planning, and global foresight as Chair in Innovation & Foresight Studies.

The successful candidate will establish and direct the Woxsen Future Studies Center, conducting and publishing annual foresight reports on global trends in technology, geopolitics, and sustainability. They will develop and teach graduate-level courses in futures thinking, policy foresight, and scenario planning, collaborating with governments, think tanks, and corporations on strategic foresight projects. Additionally, they will mentor doctoral students and research fellows in foresight studies, representing Woxsen at international foresight and innovation forums.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and direct the Woxsen Future Studies Center.
  • Conduct and publish annual foresight reports on global trends in technology, geopolitics, and sustainability.
  • Develop and teach graduate-level courses in futures thinking, policy foresight, and scenario planning.
  • Collaborate with governments, think tanks, and corporations on strategic foresight projects.
  • Mentor doctoral students and research fellows in foresight studies.
  • Represent Woxsen at international foresight and innovation forums.
Qualifications

To be considered for this prestigious role, candidates must possess a PhD in Futures Studies, Innovation Policy, Strategic Management, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have an internationally recognized publication record, proven experience in policy advisory, foresight consulting, or global think tanks, and strong global academic and industry networks.
