Job Title:

Strategic Innovation Manager

 

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop and implement a strategic innovation framework to identify, assess, and capitalize on emerging opportunities within the IoT ecosystem.
    • Conduct market analysis, competitor research, and customer discovery to inform business development strategies.
    • Design and execute validation processes for new opportunity hypotheses, leveraging primary research, expert insights, and prototype testing.
    • Lead the incubation phase for validated opportunities, defining product-market fit, building MVPs or prototypes, and running pilot programs with early customers.
    • Build and maintain a network of external contacts to serve as a radar for emerging innovation and potential partnership opportunities.
    • Cultivate strong relationships with senior leadership to communicate findings, recommendations, and progress, informing strategic investment decisions.
  • Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
    • 5+ years of experience in strategy roles within a technology context.
    • Proven experience in market analysis, new venture development, or managing early-stage innovation projects.
    • Deep understanding of the IoT technology stack, competitive landscape, and key market drivers.
    • Superior analytical skills, with experience building business cases from the ground up.
    • Exceptional strategic thinking and ability to thrive in ambiguity.
    • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
