This is a technical leadership role that involves designing and implementing internal platforms and tools to support software development teams.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Windows Server engineering, including SCCM, Active Directory, and GPO.

Responsibilities include designing and overseeing implementation of Windows Server solutions, defining best practices for patch management and server software deployment, leading troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex infrastructure issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with CIS benchmarks and internal security standards, monitoring system health and performance, driving automation and process improvements, contributing to infrastructure roadmap planning and capacity forecasting, and partnering with leadership to evaluate emerging technologies.

Required skills and qualifications include 7+ years of experience in Windows Server engineering, proficiency in Ansible automation, solid understanding of the Vulnerability Management Lifecycle and remediation planning, experience in administering Group policy and Active Directory for server management, access control, and compliance enforcement, proficiency in scripting (Powershell, YAML) for automation tasks and system integration, exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and AMI Baking/image lifecycle management, strong problem-solving, change management, and cross-functional collaboration skills, minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or related fields, advanced knowledge in AWS and Azure Infrastructure, advanced knowledge in scripting like Python, advanced knowledge in IaC tools Terraform or CloudFormation, advanced knowledge in designing and implementing CI/CD pipeline with tools like Jenkins, CodePipeline, or similar, good knowledge of version control tools like GIT, Bitbucket or Team Foundation Server, adept in System & IT operation – Windows and Linux OS administration, understanding of networking principles and technologies (DNS, Load Balancers, Reverse Proxies), Microsoft Active Directory and Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS).
