Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Management Specialist:
    • Create, update, and maintain item master in ERP systems (product codes, descriptions, categories, pack sizes, etc.).
    • Maintain and update vendor master data, including pricing and other key attributes.
    • Record and regularly update transit days for DC–vendor combinations.
    • Ensure data accuracy and consistency by running regular validations and checks.
    • Support resolution of data-related issues in collaboration with sourcing, planning, and procurement teams.
  • Business Intelligence Analyst:
    • Prepare and publish daily business reports for operations and supply chain teams.
    • Generate weekly and monthly scorecards covering KPIs (supply chain, vendor performance, inventory, and service levels).
    • Consolidate data from multiple sources and ensure timely availability of MIS to management.
    • Automate and simplify reporting formats in Excel / ERP systems / BI tools for efficiency.
    • Support ad-hoc data and reporting requirements from management.
  • Process Support & Coordination:
    • Maintain proper documentation of changes in item master and pricing.
    • Support internal audits and compliance requirements by providing accurate data.
    • Suggest improvements in data entry and reporting processes to minimize errors and manual work.
    Key Skills & Competencies:
    • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics NAV).
    • Strong MS Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formatting; macros knowledge is an advantage).
    • Ability to handle large data sets and maintain high accuracy.
    • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong coordination and communication skills to work with multiple teams.
    • Detail-oriented and process-driven mindset.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, IT, or related fields.
  • 1–3 years of experience in Data Management / Business Intelligence / Reporting in FMCG, Manufacturing, or related industries.
