About This Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Digital Marketing Strategist to lead our digital marketing efforts in the fast-paced technology industry. Based in our Bangalore, India office, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in various digital marketing channels, a keen understanding of the technology market, and the ability to design and execute effective marketing strategies that drive growth and engagement for our brands in India.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement a Digital Marketing Strategy: Create a cohesive digital marketing plan to increase brand awareness and market share.
  • Content Creation and Management: Manage the creation of relevant and engaging digital content for all channels, including websites and social media platforms.
  • Social Media Oversight: Oversee the company's social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Instagram, X, Snapchat, YouTube, and additional channels that may be deemed relevant.
  • Marketing Analysis and Metrics: Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing content and campaigns, using key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics such as website traffic, conversion rates, and return on investment (ROI).
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, such as product development and sales, to align digital marketing strategies with business goals.
  • Online Advertising Management: Manage and optimize online advertising campaigns, including pay-per-click (PPC), display advertising, and retargeting efforts.
  • Market Research and Trends: Conduct market research to identify digital marketing trends and insights within the technology sector.
  • Email Marketing Campaigns: Manage email marketing campaigns, including the design and distribution of newsletters, promotional offers, and product updates.
  • Agency and Vendor Collaboration: Collaborate with external agencies and vendors as needed to execute digital marketing initiatives.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the digital marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Marketing or Communications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven Experience: 5 years proven experience as a Digital Marketing Manager, preferably within the technology sector.
  • Digital Marketing Expertise: Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy, and best practices.
  • Campaign Management: Experience with SEO/SEM, email marketing, social media, and display advertising campaigns.
  • Marketing Automation and Tools: Proficiency in marketing automation technology and digital marketing tools/platforms.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills and the ability to mine data to inform decisions.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Creative Thinking: Creative thinker with a customer-centric approach to marketing.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Tech Industry Experience: Proven working experience in digital marketing, particularly within the technology industry.
  • Demonstrable Experience: Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns.
  • Advertising Tools and Dashboards: Experience of working with Meta, Snap & Google advertisement tools & dashboards.
  • CRM Software and Analytics Tools: Experience with CRM software and digital analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Web Design Principles and Content Management Systems: Knowledge of web design principles and content management systems.
  • Graphic Design Software: Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Tech Industry Understanding: Understanding of the technology industry and its trends.
  • Data-Driven Thinking: Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Latest Trends and Best Practices: Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Environment

  • Location: Bangalore, India office based role
  • Travel Requirements: Occasional travel for industry events or company meetings may be required

The estimated salary for this role is ₹1200000 - ₹1500000 per year, depending on experience.
