Key Business Development Role

This is a senior-level position within the logistics division that drives business growth and development through market analysis, client engagement, and operational optimization.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To work closely with clients to understand their requirements and design tailored solutions that meet their needs effectively.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of warehouse, yard, and in-plant operations to identify areas for process improvement, increase productivity, and reduce costs.
  • Develop strategic plans, resource allocation strategies, and manpower management processes to ensure efficient operations.
  • Analyze historical data to provide insightful and cost-effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Operations team to gather operational insights and support business development objectives.
  • Negotiate contracts and finalize commercial agreements to secure the best possible solutions for clients.
  • Support project implementation teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Pre-Requisites:

  • 6+ years of experience in Contract Logistics Domain
  • Strong understanding of In-plant, yard operations, and warehousing business in multiple industries
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong research and strategic analytical skills
  • Ability to analyze complex data to develop effective solutions
  • Market/business intelligence skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • High competency in working with Microsoft Office
