Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Analytics Expert to join our team.

This is a hands-on role where you'll leverage advanced data analytics, predictive modeling, and real-world data to deliver high-impact outcomes for pharmaceutical companies, healthcare providers, and governments across Australia and globally.

You will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects, analyzing large-scale health datasets and delivering powerful, data-driven strategies that improve patient outcomes.

  • Support the full lifecycle of pharmaceutical products using advanced analytics to uncover key trends and opportunities.
  • Conduct market sizing, cohort analysis, risk stratification, and KPI modeling to inform product and marketing strategies.
  • Build and optimize automated data pipelines to improve reporting efficiency and deliver faster insights.
  • Develop and present interactive dashboards, visualizations, and executive presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Partner with Product and Sales teams to translate analytical insights into scalable, productized solutions.
  • Collaborate with regional analytics teams, sharing best practices in predictive modeling, machine learning, and advanced SQL querying.
  • Mentor junior team members, promoting analytical excellence and knowledge sharing.
Required Skills and Qualifications

You will need:

  • 5+ years' experience in commercial Patient Analytics, commercial data analytics, data science, or advanced manipulation and interpretation of real-world healthcare datasets.
  • Proven expertise in SQL (advanced joins, window functions, aggregations), Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, XGBoost), and data visualization tools.
  • A strong background in healthcare analytics using datasets from providers such as IQVIA, OPTUM, and KOMODO.
  • Experience with predictive modeling, machine learning, risk stratification, and product uptake forecasting.
  • Degree in a quantitative discipline such as Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Health Economics.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analytics into actionable business recommendations.
