Job Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to assume responsibility for managing and coordinating key activities in support of our day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • To collaborate directly with stakeholders, providing expert-level support for originations and underwriting tasks related to BREDS funds.
Phase 1: Financial Planning
  • Develop annualized and trailing-12 cash flows for potential loan targets.
  • Presentation of cash flow spreads in Excel format to the Origination Team.
Phase 2: Content Development
  • To compile and deliver relevant content for screening memos, including:
  • Property-level information (photos, maps, descriptions, rent rolls, cash flows)
  • Market insights (comparable property metrics, location analysis)
  • Financing information (capital stack, debt yield, loan structure)
Scope Expansion
  • Extract market & asset data from tools like CoStar or similar platforms.
  • Analyze pipeline deal metrics (occupancy, cap rate, debt yield, NOI, cash flow) against existing portfolio.
  • Visualize and analyze property visuals and maps for location-based insights.
  • Present capital stack breakdowns (Equity vs. Debt) in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Collect and compare sales and rent comps using broker reports and online sources.
  • Analyze demographics, unit mixes, and rental income using rent rolls and cash flow statements.
  • Calculate liquidity ratios (DSCR, Debt Yield, etc.) based on NOI.
  • Support in creating investment memorandums with deal teams.
  • Conduct due diligence pre-deal closing using a formal checklist.
  • Maintain pipeline tracking tools such as DealPath or Loan Tapes.
Skillset Required
  • Master's degree in Finance or Banking & Capital Markets preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Background in real estate lending with preference for debt underwriting experience.
  • CFA designation is a plus.
  • Demonstrated quantitative and analytical aptitude with attention to detail.
  • High level of intellectual curiosity and problem-solving ability.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
