Job Title: Oracle Database Expert

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Oracle database professional to join our team. As an Oracle database expert, you will play a critical role in ensuring the performance and scalability of our databases. Your expertise in performance optimization and tuning will be essential in analyzing and resolving database bottlenecks affecting application performance.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Analyze and resolve database bottlenecks affecting application/api performance
  • Tune sql queries, pl/sql packages, stored procedures, and indexes for optimal response times
  • Implement best practices for connection pooling, partitioning, and caching strategies

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise in oracle 12c/19c performance tuning, indexing, partitioning, optimizer hints, sql and pl/sql development, awr, ash, addm, tkprof, and other oracle diagnostic/tuning tools
  • Experience supporting web applications, api-driven architectures, or middleware platforms
  • Familiarity with oracle integration cloud (oic) and fusion cloud database integration (pub/sub methodology)
