Job Title

A seasoned Database Architect is sought after to spearhead the implementation, maintenance, and performance of critical Oracle RDBMS systems.

Responsibilities
  • Develop strategies for optimal database administration.
  • Analyze system requirements and recommend necessary upgrades or modifications.
  • Maintain high availability systems using RAC, Data Guard, and GoldenGate.
  • Collaborate with application teams to support hybrid and cloud-native deployments.
  • Evaluate and improve database performance using AWR, ASH, OEM, and SQL tuning tools.
Qualifications
  • At least 8 years of experience in production database support.
  • Hands-on experience supporting large-scale database environments.
  • Proven expertise with Oracle Exadata systems, RAC, ASM, Grid Infrastructure, and Multitenant architecture.
  • Experience working with ERP systems on Oracle databases.
  • Strong background in disaster recovery planning and execution.
  • Public Cloud experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) required; OCI certifications preferred.
Key Skills
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Shell, Python, and Ansible.
  • Understanding of data protection strategies and ability to build distributed, high-performance data pipelines.
  • Experience automating database management tasks using scripting or orchestration tools.
