We are seeking an experienced Oracle DBA to lead the administration, optimization, and security of our Oracle database landscape, including mission-critical systems supporting enterprise applications like SAP.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple Oracle databases (11g, 12c, 19c, 21c) in production, development, and QA environments.
  • Perform installations, upgrades, patching, and migrations.
  • Optimize database performance using AWR, ASH, OEM, and advanced tuning techniques.
  • Configure high availability and disaster recovery settings using Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and GoldenGate.
  • Implement robust backup/recovery strategies using RMAN and/or third-party tools.
  • Automate administrative tasks and reporting using shell scripting, PL/SQL, or Python.
  • Collaborate with SAP Basis teams to support SAP systems using Oracle, including performance tuning and backup coordination.
  • Maintain database compliance with security, audit, and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in Oracle database technologies, high availability architecture, and hands-on experience with SAP-Oracle integration or collaboration with SAP Basis teams.
