Senior Homologation Engineer Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead the homologation process for retrofit emission control devices and automotive products.

The ideal candidate will oversee all homologation-related activities, drive technical and non-technical tasks, and ensure timely completion of type-approval and COP projects that meet regulatory compliance requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop Strategic Roadmaps: Design comprehensive and enhanced homologation strategies for retrofit emission control devices and automotive products.
  • Build Relationships: Establish and maintain relationships with test agencies and regulatory bodies to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Lead the Team: Provide guidance and leadership to the homologation team, ensuring effective execution of homologation strategies and meeting timelines.
  • Monitor Progress: Track and report on the homologation process, including risks and issues, to senior management.
  • Manage Resources: Develop and manage resources allocated to the homologation team, ensuring efficient project delivery.
  • Project Ownership: Assume full responsibility for homologation-related projects within the organization.
  • Culture Development: Foster a culture of process-driven innovation across the engineering team, promoting cross-functional collaboration and open communication.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in homologation, certification, or regulatory compliance, with a minimum of 1 year in a leadership role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership skills, ability to motivate and manage a team effectively, strong project management skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
