As a Backend Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping our company's platform.

Our dynamic R&D group is building and delivering an enablement platform for current and next-generation media experiences in personalization, content interaction, and social interaction.

The team is responsible for providing end-to-end social interaction functionalities on multiple platforms including web, smart TVs, iOS, Android, PlayStation, and Xbox.

Job Description

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using Python.

Ensure quality delivery through automated component testing, E2E testing, and performance testing.

Explore and recommend innovative approaches to improve our platform performance and scalability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering from a leading university
  • At least 8 years of experience as a Software/Backend Engineer in Python
  • Strong understanding of SQL or NoSQL databases, leveraging data modeling solution for scalability and performance
  • Strong experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS
  • Expertise in microservices architecture, including REST APIs and message queues
  • Strong team player with a collaborative mindset
  • Fluent in written and verbal English communication

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in CI/CD environments (e.g., GHA, Jenkins)
  • Experience in Infrastructure as Code development (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
