Job Opportunity

 

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Lead to spearhead the development of our SaaS platform. This individual will lead a team of junior developers in building scalable and reliable software, overseeing the design and implementation of the platform, mentoring team members, and ensuring adherence to internal controls.

 

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and experience with Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-based technologies. They should also have exceptional communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implementation of the platform
  • Mentor junior developers
  • Fill product backlog and deliver production-ready code
  • Coordinate and manage input from business and technology stakeholders
  • Ensure adherence to set internal controls

 

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in core Java, mainly along with Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot
  • Experience with web services standards and related technologies (HTTP, Spring, XML, JSON, REST)
  • SaaS product development experience
  • Solid understanding of database technologies and SQL and JPA
  • Hands-on experience with creating REST API and JSON
  • Good experience working in Spring Boot
  • Good experience in JSON / RESTful API / Web Services
  • Experience in AWS and Queuing systems is an advantage
  • Managed a junior developer team
  • Excellent communication skills are mandatory
  • Highly self-motivated and directed
  • Ability to work without a lot of supervision
  • Experience in working in a team-oriented and collaborative environment
  • Exposure to continuous integration
  • Knowledge of product development environments
  • Knowledge of integration with any 3rd party web services will be an added advantage
  • Knowledge on K8 and scripting will be an advantage
